ABOUT THE SEM MODEL 0201 OMD OPTICAL MEDIA DESTROYER
The Model 0201 OMD Optical Media Shredder has been designed specifically for the destruction of CDs /DVDs and Blue Ray Disks. The unit has been evaluated by the NSA and meets the NSA/CSS 04-02 requirements for the destruction of CD/DVD Optical Media. The NSA has rated the unit at 1,583 disks per hr. However, it can exceed up to 2500 disks per hr.
Residual particle size is 2.2mm x 4mm. System includes a Factory Installed Automatic Oiler with a ONE GALLON reservior to keep the machine lubricated, reduce static and to keep the cutting heads cool while shredding plastic disks.
Unit also includes a 30 gallon Anti-Static waste collection BIN as well as a Basic Supply Bundle consisting of Oil for the auto oiler and package of Anti-Static Waste Collection Bags.-

Safety Protection System
A comprehensive safety package that ensures optimum safety. Consists of an SPS (Safety Protection System), an Electronically Controlled safety flap in the feed opening to prevent fingers and ties from entering the cutting area; Auto reverse and power cut-off to avoid paper jams; Bag full and door ajar auto shut down.
Energy Savings Mode
Integrated ESM (Energy Saving Mode) to automatically shut down the system after 30 minutes of non use. Double motor protection against overheating and insulation for noise reduction. Cabinets made from recycled wood materials.
Electronic Capacity Control
LEDs provide a visual indication of in-feed sheet capacity being utilized to help prevent overfeeding and paper jams.
Easy Switch
Ergonomic multi-function switch with intelligent controls and illuminated symbols for operational status of the shredder.
